Order Fulfillment & Partial Orders

Complete Orders

Complete orders are paid in full at the time of purchase and will be shipped out in a single box, unless otherwise noted. One exception is the forthcoming TADD Cleaning Kit, which due to its liquid contents will always ship in a separate box.

Partial Orders

Partial orders are paid in full at the time of purchase and will be shipped as items become available. This means you may receive some items in multiple shipments. We will do our best to communicate partial fulfillment lead times and shipments on the website and on your packing slip.

Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)

Domestic

There are currently no MOQs for domestic (within the Continental United States) orders. This may change as our order volumes increase.

International

International orders require a MOQ purchase of twelve (12) TADDs.

Shipping Policy

Packaging

Most orders are shipped in our standard cardboard carton of 12 TADDs. Smaller or larger orders will be packaged in re-used cardboard from other companies/shipments to keep costs and our carbon footprint low.

 

Shipping Companies

We ship most orders via United Postal Service (UPS) for their superior delivery times and tracking. If this is unacceptable to you for some reason, you must contact us within 1 hour of your order placement/payment to request a different shipping option.

 

Shipping Cost Calculations

Shipping costs are calculated using a United States Postal Service (USPS) application built into the Wix website. This tends to give us the best estimate of actual shipping costs. We typically ship via United Postal Service (UPS) for their superior delivery times and tracking.

 

International Shipping

When a package ships internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed (e.g. handling fees) by the destination country. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country. The buyer is responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance and brokerage fees. These charges can vary widely and are often based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.

SciK9 cannot predict which of these fees, if any, will be applied, and we are unable to calculate or collect these fees or taxes on the buyer's behalf. SciK9 is not responsible for any additional charges that may apply after a purchase is completed.

 

Processing Times

Orders are typically packaged and shipped within 2 business days of receipt. Typically, all orders are shipped via UPS. There are times when we are on business travel for our day jobs, but we will be quick to communicate that to you if there are any expected delays.

 

Refunds for Shipping

We cannot refund any shipping charges unless the issues encountered originated with us.  If an ordered package is returned or refused then you will be credited for the items in your order but not for the shipping charges.   The reason is simple; UPS and USPS charge us to ship your package and do not provide refunds to us on returns or refusals.  If they did, we would gladly do so as well.

Return & Exchange Policy

Damaged Product

Unfortunately, fragile items are sometimes damaged in shipping. We ask that you report the receipt of a damaged product within 48 hours of delivery, include a photo of the damaged package/item(s), and do not discard the damaged item and its packaging. If you fail to report damages in this time frame, we won't be able to file a claim with the carrier which means we can't accept responsibility for the damages.

Once you notify us that your product was damaged, we will file a claim with the shipper. Claims typically take 8-10 business days to process. Please do not discard the damaged product or the packaging. The shipper may be dispatched to pick the package up for inspection and processing. We'll need your help in making it available for pickup on the scheduled date and time. In the meantime, we will refund you for the item(s) which were damaged.

Customer Satisfaction

If you are not 100% satisfied with the TADD, please let us know (contact at scik9 dot com). We welcome the feedback and will work with you to rectify any issues or concerns you may have. If you come across a substance that is not compatible with the TADD, we would also like to know that so we may share that information with the greater canine community and potentially offer some alternate membrane, gasket, or jar configurations for your application. 

Returns

Due to the significant cleaning procedures and clean-room assembly that the TADDs undergo, we are unable to accept returns. If we cannot guarantee the TADD's cleanliness or seal and membrane integrity, then we have no use for returned product. 

Cancellations
Due to low stock, if we are unable to complete a transaction, we will notify you via email and cancel the transaction. If you have already submitted payment, we will issue a full refund. 

Disclaimers

Liability

SciK9 does not take responsibility for TADDs that are not loaded, used, cleaned, and stored according to the instructions provided or in a manner consistent with canine training (understanding the limits of glass and plastic materials with respect to breakage from dropping or crushing). To get the longest shelf- and service-life out of your TADDs (up to 12 months + an additional 12 months, respectively), it is imperative to read and follow the directions. 

Compatibility

SciK9 has performed compatibility tests using TADDs with a wide array of potential training aid substances to establish and confirm a baseline level of compatibility of the device for the canine community. These tests were conducted under controlled environmental conditions for data capture and reporting and may not correlate with your particular training aid its specific environmental conditions. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the customer to perform compatibility testing with their specific training aids and the TADD. SciK9 is not responsible for consequential damages arising from your selection and use of the combination of training aids and TADDs. If you have questions regarding the potential compatibility of your training aid and the TADD, please contact us and we are happy to provide information and recommendations on general compatibility data. 

Resellers

SciK9 has a policy, with rare exception, to deal directly with our end-users. This policy helps us control the TADD supply chain, ensuring that every TADD sold is an authentic item that has been thoroughly tested, approved for the containment of HAZMAT, and handled/cleaned to our exacting standards.
